World Suicide Prevention Day – 10th September 2022

World suicide prevention day each year focuses attention on the issue, reduces stigma and raises awareness around the world that suicide can be prevented.

Sometimes the darkest times are the most difficult, but it is important to remember – YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

If you are worried about a family member, friend or colleague, reach out, start a conversation and support the person to access any help available to them.

Suicide is a significant public health concern and if your mental or emotional state quickly deteriorates, or you are in crisis or despair it is important to get help quickly. You are not alone; talk to someone you trust. Sharing a problem is sometimes the first step to recovery.
